With migration here, it is the perfect time to learn the basics of birding. In this beginner to immediate class, you will learn how to use binoculars, field guides, keep a life-list and what to look for when identifying birds. Enjoy a relaxing morning learning more about the fastest growing spectator sport in America. Free with $5 Admission; Members are Free. Binoculars and Field guides are available for use. Join our Master Birder Stewards as they identify and detail the birds of the Wetland. This is an advanced class and the pace will be fast.Those participating are expected to have knowledge regarding bird identification. This tour includes special limited access by carpooling with the leaders into the Wetland. Meet the tour leaders at the Wetland Center at 7:00 a.m. The Advanced Bird Tour hours are 7:00-10:00am. The cost for this tour is $10 and does require preregistration and payment.

What better way to enjoy the wetland than by getting into the wetland via our boardwalk. Join a Wetland Staff member for a guided walk and learn about the many cool things happening in the wetland. Learn about the mammals, birds, amphibian ands plants that call the wetland their home. Wear a hat, bring some insect repellent and a water bottle, and you will be off for an adventure. No reservations required!
