It's Story Time!

Do your little ones enjoy being in nature? Join us with your 3-5 yr. old and learn how to appreciate nature through story books and exploration. Make a craft, sing songs plus hands on activities are all part of the fun. Please Register by clicking on the Nature Storytime Flyer.

    Family Fun Days

    Summer Fun for the whole family!

    Join us this summer for any or all of our awesome Family Fun Day programs. Follow the Incredible Journey of Water, Journal and Draw with Nature Journaling for Kids, Learn about Birds of the Wetland, Discover the interconnectivity of food chains and food webs, Explore the world of insects, Take the Ick out of Ichthyology (fish), Learn basic outdoor survival skills and Study how Wetland Plants clean the water! Trinity Trifecta Nature Challenge

Are you looking for something fun and adventurous for the kids this summer? The Trinity Trifecta Nature Challenge is a perfect fit! The John Bunker Sands Wetland Center has partnered with the Trinity River Audubon Center and the Dallas ISD STEM Environmental Education Center, to create the Trinity Trifecta Badge for the 2021 Texas Nature Challenge! Your child will compete to earn the Trinity Trifecta digital badge while learning about the local plants and animals of the Trinity Water Shed. A swag bag and entry into a prize drawing for really cool prizes are all part of the fun. If you have questions email us at or call 972-474-9100. Details are in the flyer.
