Our wetland, the largest manmade wetland in the U.S., is more than just a vital resource, helping to clean up to 90 million gallons of water daily for North Texas-area residents. It’s a thriving ecosystem, home to thousands of wildlife species, and a hub for educating over 5,000 K-12 students each year in cutting-edge science and ecology. Wings Over the Wetland supports our mission of educating the next generation in the newest science, ecological design and ecology.
