This Year’s WOW Is a Celebration of Art, Nature and Innovation!
Our wetland, the largest manmade wetland in the U.S., is more than just a vital resource, providing up to 90 million gallons of water daily to Dallas-area residents. It’s a thriving ecosystem, home to thousands of wildlife species, and a hub for educating over 5,000 K-12 students each year in cutting-edge science and ecology. Wings Over the Wetland supports our mission of educating the next generation in the newest science, ecological design and ecology.
This year, we’re thrilled to partner with internationally acclaimed artists Martin Hill and Philippa Jones, featured in the BBC’s “Nature and Us: A History” series. Their art vividly communicates the urgent need for sustainable action and inspires us to build a future our next generation can cherish.
Martin and Philippa will create and unveil a unique environmental art piece designed exclusively for the JBS Wetland Center and the Dallas community. This stunning artwork will blend artistry with our commitment to sustainability, transforming an inspiring concept into a tangible symbol of hope and innovation.
We invite you to sponsor and attend this extraordinary event, where art meets environmental stewardship. Be part of a movement that celebrates creativity, supports education, and promotes a sustainable future for all.
Join us in making a lasting impact. Together, we can inspire change and embrace a world worth inheriting.
