We’re seeking collaborative partnerships to help us fulfill our research mission. Research proposal applications from individuals, universities and organizations can be submitted throughout the year.
Our advisory committee will review the applications and make recommendations to the board of directors. Principal investigators will be contacted within 90 days of submission regarding the disposition of their proposal.
Below is the research application. Research is encouraged in the areas listed in the application.
Dr. Bryan Brooks of Baylor University helps guide our research program. A professor of environmental science, Dr. Brooks is interested in research that includes assessments of anthropogenic influences on ecosystems and water quality. He actively collaborates within Baylor’s Reservoir and Aquatic Systems Research Center, which believes that protection and prudent management of water resources is essential for sustaining economic viability and ecological health. Dr. Brooks is involved with the East Fork Water Reuse Project, monitoring environmental changes in water quality criteria and standards.
